With the cold weather creeping its way into Minnesota, my travel-obsessed mind has one thing on my mind: going somewhere warm. While I may not be going anywhere anytime soon, it is fun to pretend and go bathing suit shopping just in case the moment arises. Below, you will be able to see four of my favorite picks (which I might have to buy for myself) from Amazon.com. All of the suits are under $20 and seem to have good reviews of the product. Let me know what you think of the suits below and have fun shopping (even if you aren't planning on sunbathing anytime soon!).

I'll admit that I've always wanted to be behind the camera. So when I had the opportunity to have my photos taken with the latest Minneapolis photographer/ model meetup I couldn't resist having my photos taken. Don't get me wrong, I love snapping pictures of others, but sometimes I wonder what life would be like behind the scenes.

It was quite a humbling experience during the networking event when people questioned if I was a model or a photographer. The fashion age is shifting- and so am I. The concept of who can be a model is shifting- and maybe- just maybe I could someday be considered one too.

If you're interested in participating in the next Models/Photographers mixer I would highly recommend coming. Check out the link below to learn about more information and join in on the fun. https://www.facebook.com/events/123362718362397/

Halloween is right around the corner and, probably like myself, you are freaking the heck out over what to wear. As a fashion lover I always find it hard to find costumes that are not only cute; but that I can re-wear in the future in my day-to-day life. I'm a firm believer in trying to find a costume that you can already piece together at your house or can find easily at Goodwill. Below are a couple of Halloween Costumes that you can wear either individually or with your girl squad.

Ask any fashion blogger who their inspirations are, and I'm they'll give you an extensive list. One of my all-time favorite fashion bloggers hands down is the creator of StyleScrapbook.com,  Andy Torres.  Since 2007, Torres has been sharing her styling tips with the world on her blog StyleScrapbook.com.  I became a fan of Torres one day when I was scrolling on Lookbook.nu  and became inspired by her twist of sporty and ready-to-wear clothing.

Fast forward to ten years later. StyleScrapbook is more than a blog. It is an empire. Andy Torres is one of the rare bloggers who has made her mark around the fashion world as an ambassador for Mango, Ted talk speaker, and Freelance editor for Elle Magazine (NL). If you haven't heard about this girl there's a reason why I am shamelessly promoting her for free. It's because she deserves to be recognized.

Today marks a special day for Torress because it is the launch of her clothing line 'AITlable'. According to the website, the blogger created the line in order to express who she is. "Fashion has always been close to my heart, since watching my mother customize my clothes and teach me how to sew at the age of 7".  The collection, which is now out online today, consists of a mix of jean jackets, an oversized men's button up top,  and bomber jackets. When I first saw the clothes online today I without a doubt could spot the influence Andy Torres had on the clothing line. The pieces are versatile, fresh, chic, and most importantly allow for mobility; ultimately making it the perfect clothing line that represents the queen of ready-to-wear clothes.

Below, are a couple of my favorite looks from the company. If you are interested in learning more about Andy Torres or AITlable please check out https://aitlabel.com. My online question is this- when will that red velvet beanie be in store?

    Until next time,

Image result for the bold type

Are you a Carrie? Miranda? Samantha? or Charlotte?

You've probably had this debate with your girlfriends or while binge-watching in your favorite sweatpants while eating chocolate cake. If you answered 'E', all for all of the above then welcome to your favorite new TV Show.

'The Bold Type' features three women who work (and kick some major ass) in New York City for the top fashion magazine, Scarlette. The show is inspired by editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, Joanna Coles. Jane Sloan (the writer), Kat Edison (social media guru) and Sutton Brady (the fashionista underdog) are shown facing drama both within the office and outside.

Like Sex and City, every episode is full of relatable storylines with a tad of unachievable glitz and glam ( I mean hello, they are working for a fashion magazine). Yes, there is a 'Big' type character, a love triangle, thousands of shots done throughout the city, and a protagonist writer that sometimes writes about her sex life. But let me stop you right there...

The 'Bold Type' is more than three women and their sexcapades around New York City. .What makes the 'Bold Type' unique is the plotline. The show talks about relevant issues including immigration, breast cancer awareness, and sexism within the workplace.

For far too long, women have been incorrectly depicted in the media. We have to thank shows, such as Sex and the City, for paving way for these TV shows that finally depict woman how they really are: bosses (both at work and within the bedroom). So grab your sweatpants and laptop; it's time to start binge-watching the new and improved version of 'Sex and the City'.

Have you seen Freeform's 'The Bold Type'? Let me know in the comments below what you think of this new show!

They say that you learn something every day. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably noticed that I've been spamming a lot about Minnesota Fashion Week. I was fortunate to shoot for two events (FlyOver x Fashion and Northern Vogue) and attend the Plus Size Panel discussion at Surly Brewery. Throughout the events, I had the opportunity to connect and listen to other peoples stories. Here are a few valuable lessons that I learned during Minnesota Fashion Week.

    1. What inclusivity looks like IRL: I've been fortunate to attend fashion shows around the world. Many of them require you to have social connections, a lot of cash, or just sheer dumb luck (I would be the third category folks).  Ten years ago, fashion shows used to be secretive and the clothing on the label was intended for showcasing rather than for wear. Fast forward to 2017 where prete-a-porter (ready to wear) fashion rules the runway across the globe. 'Inclusive' has become a buzz word in terms of fashion events lately. Many fashion shows say that they are now inclusive yet lack diversity on the runway and close its doors to the general public. Fortunately, Minnesota Fashion Week isn't like that. Instead, they embraced the term 'the more the merrier' and created events that were either free or had a small entry fee.
    2. Collaboration is powerful: The one word that was repeated over and over again was 'collaboration' and just how willing people in Minnesota are to help each other. Check out my latest blog post and see just a few of the people I met that were doing just that!
    3. Embrace who you are RIGHT NOW: During the Plus Size Panel, one of the most powerful things that I learned was learning how to embrace how your body is at this moment. Many people (including myself) have fluctuating bodies and it can be very hard to accept the extra rolls that might have magically appeared on my hips. Your body is a work in progress, and in order to make yourself the best person, you have to accept yourself first. Do what makes you happy and be a support system for you and your friends. Try new things and eat that piece of chocolate cake if you want.
    4. How awesome and stylish everyone is: Minnesota fashion doesn't get the credit that it deserves. It is wacky, loud, and bright. They are changing the way the fashion world is with its local designers, models, and people that are ready to make a statement.
    5. Becoming a sustainable shopper: I consider myself to be a pretty 'green' person, but I was unaware of how damaging fast fashion was until I listened to this discussion. Learn where and what your materials are made from. Try and shop local whether that's at a thrift store or at a local eco-friendly establishment.

Networking can be a scary task. If you asked any sane person they will probably agree with me when it comes to meeting new people for the first time. All of a sudden, as if it was magic, first-day-of-school jitters emerge. Yet this time you aren't a pre-pubescent teen. You are a grown adult that has worked hard and is trying to create meaningful relations that could help expand and grow your passions. Your heart is on your sleeve and the possibility of having someone reject you and your ideas is more than a reality.
I might be a bit dramatic when it comes to networking, but this is what my thought process is during those first five minutes when I enter into a room full of complete strangers. Fortunately my inner extrovert appears and all of the sudden I am floating the crowd realizing just how small this word (and specifically the Twin Cities) is.
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend , shoot, and network at some of Minnesota Fashion Weeks Events (which you can view at SabrinaKennellyPhotography.com ). Throughout the events at Minnesota Fashion week one word stuck with me : Collaboration. As scary as networking might be, it is also very rewarding and gave me the opportunity to meet creative like-minded individuals. Listening to their stories and working with them gave me drive and motivation to create more inspiring content. Below, you can check out just a few movers and shakers that I met during Minnesota Fashion week. They have already inspired me so much, and I hope they will for you as well!

Eeek- It's the end of August! And there's only one thing that this means: FASHION WEEK IS COMMING!

It should come to no shock that I'm excited for fashion week since I'm an aspiring fashion blogger. Though I won't' be sitting in the Jardins des Tuileries in Paris this fashion week,  I will be attending (and helping out) at several of the shows here in Minnesota. Personally, I'm really excited for this year because it will be my first time attending Minnesota Fashion week. I'm a freak for having been to Pairs Fashion week before my own home towns right? In case you were curious about the shows here is a snapshot of the fabulosity to come. I can't wait to see what fall trends will be hitting the runway and how Minnesotans and MidWest beauties alike will be interpreting this years 'must haves'. For more information about Minnesota Fashion Week check out their website here.  Will you be attending any of the shows? Let me know in the comments below!

For as long as I can remember, I have had difficulties trying to find clothes that fit me. The first time that I knew I was different than the other girls was in 5th grade. I was shopping with my mom when she introduced me to the Junior Section, a line that was designated for high school girls. The days of shopping at Limited Too were over and I reluctantly transitioned over to the Candies collection. Fast forward to today. The Junior Section has become a thing of the past and I now shop in the women's department. Spandex has become my best friend and shades of black are my go-to.

Shopping, an activity that used to be fun, has now become a scavenger hunt. Even though I have access to the largest mall in the United States, I still have difficulties finding fashionable clothes that not only fit but look good on me.

I'm a mix of everyone's worst nightmare: a petite plus size girl. Ankle waist pants still billow on me and dress typically hit at awkward angles. My love handles are my worst enemy and bulge out whenever they can. I'm not here to throw a pity party, but to educate you (my lovely readers) on the difficulties of shopping as a plus size girl.

Even though the average size of an American woman is 16, there are still few options for us plus size women. While girls sizes 0-12 have the ability to shop wherever they want, plus size women are left in the trenches with little to no options. What makes things worse is that sometimes when larger sizes are available, like large or xtra-large in a select style, they are usually only available for purchase online. Instead, clothing stores offer racks upon racks of xtra smalls, allowing our imaginations to wonder.

Plus size girls are pretty awesome and are combating the fashion world head first. For the first time ever, plus size women are being featured in magazines and ad space across the market. They are making a name for themselves and women around the world. Yet somehow I find myself struggling when it comes to admitting that I'm a plus size women. I'll admit, I'm not always the best with my body, but I am not terrible with it either. At times, I feel ashamed going into the Plus size section at stores like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. I see glamorous curvy girls working their stuff, finding cute clothes, and yet the only thing that seems to fit me is a beach cover up dress from Costco.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I don't have super confidence. I know what looks good on me and that I have a great body. I LOVE my body, even if it doesn't look good in whatever the trendiest clothes. I know that I deserve options for clothes other than over sized clothes. And honestly, I feel like a phony at times as an aspiring fashion blogger because of it. Maybe this is simply a rant on my annoyance of the fashion industry. Though it has made changes for the better, there are still many hurdles ahead for the plus size fashion industry. I want to see more options in professional wear, active wear, and over all confidence boosters for women of any size. Because at the end of the day, we are amazing. Shouldn't our clothes represent that as well?

Image result for keeping up with the kardashiansFor over 10 years America has been watching the family that we love to hate. The Kardashian family, whether we like it or not, has been in our living rooms sharing family moments from births, weddings, and lots of drama. I'd be lying if I said that I've never seen an episode. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've almost seen every episode from the reality series.

As much as you might hate to admit it, the Kardashians are here to stay. For the last ten years, they have not only shaped television but the media as well. Overnight they created not one but several fashion empires (remember their Sears collection?), graced the runway and magazines, became the faces of brands such as Lancome, and created million dollar makeup brands.

Throughout the years, there have been several spinoffs including Miami, New York, I am Cait, Rob & Chyna, and most recently Life of Kylie. America has been there through it all and it seems as though this family is here to stay. Here are just a few pictures of some of my favorite shoots from the Kardashian clan. Kongrats on ten years! May you bring even more drama, fashion, and flair.
