Entered into a competition where Simon Cowell will watch my singing videos! Please like, comment, share, subscribe and all that jazz. It would really mean a lot to me!
Who doesn't love birthday parties?!? I sure don't! I can't believe my little sister is now an adult (gasp). We found a great restaurant in downtown St.Paul on a rooftop ( which have seriously been my go-to places right now in the summer) for a great dinner and then walk around the town at night. It was by far a great summer night that I will always remember. Being with family is always one of the best things you can do. So take the time this week and do something you wouldn't typically do-like what my family did-go to a new restaurant and celebrate the milestones! Enjoy the pictures since each is worth 1,000 words! Can't wait to show you what else is coming your way this summer!

Look at the gazebo we found! I will definitely be back for a picnic this summer and a great bike ride (which I've had many lately) |
Had a great day on Sunday going to the Zoo and Conservatory! I love watching little (and big) animals be cute and adorable by doing the little things such as eating, popping and waddling around. Going to the zoo is a great reminder of how beautiful, fragile and rare wild life are.I always find myself in a great mood after going to the zoo no matter what. Its so funny how even though these animals have a different way of communicating with us humans, they are somewhat so alike. It just goes to show us (as humans) that we have more similarities out in the world then differences. Just a quick thought. I know I over analyze simplistic things/activities like going to the zoo, but it always seems to amaze me of how much happiness these animals can create by doing the same actions that we humans do. Here are just a few pictures from the zoo that I took the other day :) I will post some of the plant life pictures tomorrow! Hope everything is going well.
As always,
Sabrina
Hey everyone!
Me being weird -but hey-isn't my tongue cool?!? |
Wow, I cannot believe that summer has almost been a MONTH long! So far I have lost 20 pounds-a real shock to me. It feels great to be healthy. I really want to just strut around in a bikini right now, even though I still don't think I have the body right now (but soon I will!). Today I did a lot of activity. I finally got the bike out and boy, did I forget what I work-out that could be! I also played a great tennis game with my sister and a volleyball game. Though we didn't tally the scores I think it was a fair bet that we tied (but we'll put down for the record that I won). I mean come on-I was born first! I naturally will be first at all sports. Right?!? I also made a Linkdon profile (I think that's how you spell it). Not sure yet of what it's purpose is yet. I'll tell you if I decide to keep it or not. I feel like it's just an online braggers club. Maybe this will allow me to have some more motivation though. Speaking of motivation-I now officially have 100 Subscribers on my Youtube Channel! I am honestly surprised that 100 people even LOOK or should I saw watch? my youtube channel. I've only had it for about 6 months and I am surprised at the success of it. I've (for the majority) received great compliments and rewards for doing the channel. For all of you fellas that are pessimistic, think about it this way: what could go so wrong if you fail? So what? If people don't watch what you have to say/sing/do, then what's the big deal? The only one that's missing out isn't you, but others. Maybe it's the wanna-be guru in me talking, but I really see only benefits to having a channel and posting videos. Yes, it's an ego booster. But who doesn't need one every once and a while? My little sister had her grad party and it went fabulously.I am broke right now, seeing that I had to pay my cell phone bills, so I did my best to help her out with the party. To say that I am tired of cleaning is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I'm done with it for a while. I most likely will get sick from all the dust bunnies that will accumulate under my bed from the lack and unwillingness to do so-but whatever! The guests that came enjoyed themselves and I also had fun seeing some old friends. Parties are always a great time to see which people are truly there to rely on. I'm glad that my sister and I both have a good group of trust worthy people to fall back on. Cheesy. But true people!
On that note I'll tell you about what's planned for next. Yes, I know that I said I was going to the french church (I do still plan on that) but I've been working a lot lately and the times don't work too well with mine. Who would have thought that there would be church on Tuesday and Thursdays? Weird, I know. I am doing this contest to have my hairstyle redone/vamped up. I have no idea though when this would take place. Fingers crossed they like frizzy hair! I have scheduled my drivers test and have been practicing my parallel parking (not) by getting orange cones. Massive orange cones. Ok, my dad bought them, but whatever. I'm going to practice nonetheless. This will allow me to ace the test on the first time. Seeing that I stop at the stop sign :) Also, I am planning on doing my train ride the week after the fourth of July. It seems like this summer is going by so fast!!! At least I have a great list to help me remember why its so great though. Until next time

What great weather it is today to take a stroll around a lake! I think its always great to get away from the city life (even if it is only a mile out of the hustle and bustle) and take in all the aspects of nature. Even if that means you smell that smelly fish afterwards. Lake of the isles is a great place to people and dog watch, go for a canoe ride, walk around, and even get in a good exercise (which I did!). I can't wait to go back soon again this summer and see the rest of the lakes in Minneapolis. I'm sure I will be biking next time so that I can stop more and take in all the lovely views! This was seriously a great idea for a Sunday stroll :)
Now off to some more graduation parties!!

Here is the list so far of the challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the Northern Spark Festival ( I heard it was amazing from some of my other friends!) because I was grad party hopping too much. Ooops on my par. I guess this just goes to show you to live in the moment and to decide what works best for you. Speaking of work, I have been working a lot lately. Yipee for me. I love it. Unlike the previous summer, I actually enjoy going to work. I find not dreading going to work WAY less stressful this year. Plus-its fun helping out people! You might not realize it, but how you dress does effect your whole day. It's a reflection of your personality-as a whole-and for the day as well. I'm going to give YOU a mini-challenge. Spice up your wardrobe for the day. Wear something that you've always wanted to try. Be daring! Be bold. I bet that you'll look great in it.
On that note, I'll talk about the list. I have booked everything for Disney World for at the end of the summer. I am super pumped for this! I will also be going to Universal Studios for one day to go visit the beloved Harry Potter World. I've been watching every single documentary video on both amusement parks over and over again. Yep, I'm a major freak when it comes to amusement parks and knowing every single little detail possible. Including deaths. I'm also looking at going to Valley Fair sometime next week. I just have to double check if I have off of work and then I'll be making plans for that. I'm a ride junkie. I LOVE roller coasters. It reminds me that there's something worth living for and that life is beautiful. I don't know how roller coasters do this or create this mentality for me, but somehow every time they do. Maybe it's because I've seen too many final destination movies. I'm also doing a 'model search' to get my whole head of hair re-done at a local salon. My hair is turning into a frizz ball in this weather. A big no no. Other then that nothing major has been going on. I hope everyone is having a great day today and is seizing each day. Even if its for those little moments. Do it! Live it. And love it!

My sister and I |
#1) Weight Loss
So far I've lost 20 pounds. I have done little change to my exercise (I walk about 3 to 4 miles 5 days a week). It's been challenging especially since I've been grad party hoping the past couple of days. Who knew that there would be little healthy food to choose from? Being a vegetarian has proved to be even harder to re-adjust myself to not being able to eat everything. I think it has been a curse and a blessing at the same time. At one end, I am limited to a certain amount of foods. This limited number though seems hard at times because my only options are unhealthy at grad parties. Big no no for me. I decided to plan ahead though and bring one of my healthy snacks along the way just in case this sort of thing happened. Shows you how beneficial preparation is! I've cut a lot of desserts out of my life. I'm obsessed with them. It's hard at times but I've found a great alternative. POPCORN and KETTLE-CORN. Seriously you guys its amazing. Almost all that I eat is this (of course my main meal which consists of fruits and veggies too). Everyone has those cravings. Especially during that one week in the month girls. You know I'm not the only one that goes bonkers for something sweet and salty during their periods. Drinking a lot of fluids has helped me too. Maybe this is TMI but I knew that I was loosing weight when my bathroom habits changed. That should be a good indication for anyone. Like the typical weight loss person I feel more energetic and better about my body. I would still like to loose another 20 pounds (don't worry it's a healthy weight) or so. But hey-I'm half way there! And the summer isn't even half way done yet so yipee for me. I hope that when I go back to college I will be able to turn a few more heads then before....or maybe all!
#2) Grad parties
As I said before, I have been going grad party hopping. I love being social with friends and hanging out with them. It has proven to be a bit draining (explaining why I took a breather yesterday and today) since my younger sisters grad party is coming up this weekend. I really enjoy cleaning so I've found myself thinking a lot lately while doing this. And of course singing. I'm adding a few pictures from one of the grad parties I attended with my friends. I always recommend that you have an activity for your guests. Grad parties have a fair share of awkwardness involved. Activities allow guests to interact with one another and are always a great way to make new friends. Also, I would recommend that you put labels on food. I on accident ate cow tongue at one graduation party. I do not know how this happened but I did. Clearly mark what you are serving so that guests know what they're eating.
#3) Youtube
I am always posting new videos on my youtube channel of covers. I would greatly appreciate your opinions on my singing! Here is the link: www.youtube.com/theprincessfusion Seriously, go and watch.
I'll leave you with some pictures from one of the grad parties we went to. I have always wanted to do Sumo Wrestling! I'm glad that I can add this onto the list. It has been so much fun celebrating the class of 2013 and I can't wait to have some more fun at the next parties we go to for the months to come!
