    Photo form Kendall + Kylie.com
I admit, I've always been a fan of the famous Jenner girls. I've watched them grow up on TV on Keeping up with the Kardashians, follow Kylie on Snapchat, and have even tried on a crop top from their Pac Sun collection in hopes of looking like them. But at last, it comes a time where you have to grow out of crop tops and trade them in for blazers and button up t-shirts. And Kendall and Kylie seem to be doing just that in their new collection. Starting this Spring, shoppers can buy the collection at featured stores such as Nordstrom, Saks, and Bloomingdales to name a few. But with more material  comes a larger price-tag.  According to the girls, the pieces will range from $70-300. Something  that will prove to be an investment for many of us fans that are in the midst of paying for college rather than a leather dress. What makes it more confusing for people like me that want to buy the entire collection is that each retailer will only have a portion of the collection to sell, rather than the entire. This means that you'll either have to do a lot of online shopping or hop from one department store to another to get your perfect Kendall + Kylie look.
The girls before they started having their own businesses
With both of the sisters growing up, the style and quality of the products have left both fans and critiques in awe of their creation. Not only have the girls created a line that is fashionable, but one that is also practical and read-to-wear for (gasp) young professionals. In case if you're like me and are budgeting how many pieces you can ACTUALLY afford from this coveted collection, here are a few pieces that might have rushing to the store and opening up your wallets. Happy shopping!

Being sick can suck. Scratch that- being sick in Minnesota can suck. It literally feels like I'm under house arrest at times living in Minnesota because it's so damn cold outside ( right now it's negative 12 with windchill). So instead of looking outside at the tundra known as Minnesota, I have chosen to watch some of my favorite Disney Vlogs. As some of you may know, I am Disney obsessed. Last year my dream came true to finally be able to buy a annual pass (life goals I know) at Disneyland Paris. I coveted my blurry picture with my annual pass because I was a Disney fanatic who was ready to conquer rides such as the Tower of Terror to Indiana Jones. Fortunately Youtube is there to help me feed into my obsession with Disney vlogs while I'm here in the cold and sick. In case if you're just as obsessed  with Disney as I am, but don't have the time to kill navigating around what can sometimes be the sketchy side of Youtube then you're in luck. Here is a list of some of my favorite vlogs/vloggers at Disney Parks.

    1)  Adamthewoo- from Disney to abandon theme parks around America

This channel has everything that I've ever wanted in a Youtube Chanel on Disney and more. I've always had a weird obsession with the evolution of the Disney Parks. Adamthewoo not only explains what has happened to the old and forgotten rides from childhood past at the beloved parks, but also explains how some of the magic happens on his Youtube channel. A plus? If you're into abandoned theme parks like I am (New Orleans Six Flags anyone?) Adamthewoo has pretty much been to every park there is that has been left for adventures such as Adam to salvage around.

Bonus: If you want to see why Adam got kicked out of DisneyWorld or want to see what a day in the life is for this awesome dude you can also visit his personal vlog channel at TheDailyWoo.

#2)Bright Sun Gaming- Remember Disney's resorts of the past

I like to brag that I have great memory. That was until I saw Bright Sun Gaming's videos on Disney Discovery Island. I had completely forgotten about this part of Disney or that I had even visited this tropical paradise until I saw these videos. Though the user doesn't actually go on site to see what the island is like now, there are some great pictures and descriptions of what has happened to the island and its evolution since. This Channel also features stories on other Disney resorts and what used to be Nickelodeon Resort.

#3) Magic Journeys- A collection of the old and the new

This channel is a great example of how Disneyland has evolved but also has stayed the same. I always love the concept that Disney 're-purposes" their rides and products and you can see that exactly here in this Tomorrow land video showing the original concept compared to that of today's. Plus who doesn't love a bit of history? With Magic Journey's 'fun facts' you can understand Disney's motifs for evolving in his documentary style vlogs.

#4) Locksleynet- Wait there was a Disney park in China?

This user deserves props for dedication for trying and finding the abandoned Disney 'Wonderland' park in China. He commuted 2 and a half hours in China to find what seems to be only the entrance and a half built Cinderella's castle. I'm curious to see if this will be the same location for Disney's new park that they are building in China. Regardless, this video is a great example of what an abandoned park looks like and the traces that are left for us to question about why this park was built.

    #5) Fake Disneyland- China

Now I'm a bit confused if the park as shown above is the same as below (the first video was filmed in 2012) and there are videos of others going into the park in 2013. Regardless, it's funny to see how a company can blatantly copy off of Disney (and other companies) and somehow get away with it ( that we know of).  Sometimes the confusion of Disney's history and there sub-companies (remember Euro Disney?) is sometimes entertaining enough for the day. Trust me though, there's more than just this park that is similar to Disney (Europa Park anymore?).

Are there any channels that you think I missed? Let me know below! Happy Youtube Watching :)

In honor of Pizza Day yesterday, here are a few of my favorite places to eat pizza in Paris. Last year while I lived in Paris pizza became one of my favorite dishes. Yes, I know it's not at all very French but you could say that I'm obsessed with this dish. So naturally, I had to try European Pizza- because why not? While the pizza might not be as good as that compared to Italy or even America sometimes, there are definitely some unique restaurants and eateries that could compete for first place. So get ready and eat up mes amies! Here are the best places to eat Pizza while you're in Paris.

    (1) O Kartier- 59 Rue de Belleville, 75019 Paris, France

This place became my go-to restaurant with my friends and I. Being deprived of American styled Pizza in France caused some problems at time. Then one day while  I was walking the streets of Belleville drinking bubble tea we stopped and saw what looked like the best pizza in the world. And boy is it! For only five euros you can get a pizza (as shown above). The restaurant offers different varieties of pizza as well as some great spices that I never thought would be good on pizza, but it brought me back every time wanting more and more.

    #2) Pizza, 42 Rue Labrouste 75015

If you want a typical Italian pizza this is the place to go. The pizza is light and great for a snack. Though it is on the more expensive side, the pizza is well worth it. What makes it even better? If you're in the mood from some extra dosage of American food they even have Ben & Jerry's to go with your pizza #yesplease.

#3) Le Comptoir Général, 80 Quai de Jemmapes 75010 Paris, France

    Picture from myfrenchcoach.fr
The venue itself is a hidden gem. Tucked away next to the Canal St Martin, the Comptoir is a great hideaway from the bustling streets of Paris. What makes it even better (if that is even possible) from their grand jungle decor and strong tropical drinks is the oven stove pizza they have for sale. This is the perfect place to get drunk and eat some great food too.

    Other stuff...

For other American styled food in Paris I recommend the Pink Flamingo Pizza near the Canal St Martin, Cafe Indiana (multiple locations),  Hard Rock Cafe, and the Hungry Hippo. But remember friends, local is better so don't depend solely on eating the same food that you would eat in the States while you're in the City of Lights. Happy eating!

In Minnesota right now it has been freezing. I'm not one to usually complain about the weather out here since I've pretty much have become acclimated with the sub zero temperatures, but with the wind- damn that is a whole different story. I've also noticed myself becoming more creative as the temperatures drop to maintain staying warm while still looking semi-fashionable. And let me tell you, it is difficult.. If you're anything like me, jackets are a must have in Minnesota. They are a staple piece that keeps you warm and sheltered in from the wind while maintaining a cool and collective attitude while the wind slams into your face. The snow-pants and the puffy jackets from elementary school are now in the trash, and I have now graduated to having a good 'big girl' jacket in my adult life. After all, jackets are not only an investment put a staple piece in the Minnesota Wardrobe. Here are a few of my favorite jackets that I'm in love with right now.

#1) Calvin Klein Faux-Fur- Trim Jacket: My sister and I both have this jacket ( I have the long coat version while she has the short). I truly believe that the fur hoodie makes this jacket sleek and dramatic while out in the cold.  In addition, the long coat keeps pretty much every body part snug and warm throughout your journeys in the cold tundra known as Minnesota.

#2)  H& M leather black jacket: When I saw this jacket at the store I feel in love. Not only is it slimming, but it looks bad ass with the zippers and leather detail that make it look like a crossover between a motorcycle jacket and a trench coat.

#3) Faux Fur Jacket, Urban Outfitters :  There's something so effortless about Faux Fur Jacket's that I love. With Minnesota's weather fluctuating this is a great piece to wear when it's a bit warmer outside. Whether you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt or a little black dress, a faux fur jacket glam's up a look in a second. If you're on a budget like I am look at local thrift stores for some great and unique coats that you won't be able to find anywhere else!

#4) Calvin Klein- Lord & Taylor: If you want to go for a look that is more 'on trend' rather than something more classic veer towards coats that have more of a metallic look on them. This gives your a modern look while keeping yourself warm as well.

#5) Leopard Coat, Forever 21: With the sun setting faster than ever and the days just looking plain gloomy adding a leopard coat to your winter wardrobe might just be the best solution. It's bold and classic at the same time. Just remember to stick to one print when wearing this fierce jacket.

The Oosterdam in Grand Turks and Caicos, December 2015
For many of you that have been following this blog and my photography page, you know that my family and I are avid cruisers. My parents met on a cruise and since 2004, the family has used cruising as our mode for vacationing. As time went by, our family had the privilege of trying several different cruise lines varying from Norwegian, Carnival, and now Holland America. With my parents getting older, the craziness of Carnival Cruise Lines became unappealing for them and they wanted something more relaxing. Of course when I first heard the news that we were going to go on a Holland America Cruise in 2013 I freaked out.  "Isn't that an old people cruise?", I asked my parents. They laughed and reminded me that they were now what I referred too as 'old people' and that this would be the perfect cruise for the whole family because of its relaxing atmosphere.

The Oosterdam in Bonaire, December 2015

To say that I wasn't excited for the cruise was an understatement when I went on-board my first Holland America Cruise in 2013 I had many presumptions that involved early dinner times, lots of walkers, and being forced to play card games out of sheer boredom during days at sea. Fortunately, I was proved wrong by these presumptions. Here's why:
    1. The staff: Our family has gone on Holland both during the holidays (Christmas to be exact) and during the off season and EVERY TIME the staff has been over the top exceptional. From the time you enter the ship  you know that the staff are here to help you have a good time. From the extra little details of placing Christmas cookies in our state room, to the staff members befriending us and just overall attitude makes each trip refreshingly amazing. The staff has honestly become a part of our family. My family and I have celebrated the holidays, college graduations, and birthdays on Holland's cruises, and the staff have always made those moments extra special with their hard work and positive attitudes. My sister and I are now more excited to see our friends on the ship than what is going to be at the buffet.
Posing with one of our Lido staff friends!
    2. The food: After you go on one of these ships you'll understand why the rest of cruises foods are more so like a floating Old Country Buffet rather than a five star restaurant. Whether you're eating at the buffet or at the restaurant for dinner, each night is themed and catered to where you are visiting. Whether you are in Maine eating Lobster, in the Key West eating tangy Key lime Pie, or native fish in the Caribbean; each trip features different local dishes that allows you to experience the culture, customs, and delicacies of each visiting location.

    3. The Spa: I'm not big on pampering myself but once I saw the spa on Holland's ships I couldn't resist but try out the thermal rooms that they had to offer. Unlike other ships, Holland offers a pass that gives you access to their thermal rooms for the entirety of the cruise. This includes access to the sauna, thermal rooms, thermal chairs, and a giant hydro pool. My worries of playing bridge with old women went away in a second when I realized that I could spend my days in the spa.

     .
So overall you could say that my favorite cruise line is Holland America. Yes there are other factors such as the locations the cruises go to, the entertainment and the lack of rowdy kids are great. If you have any questions please feel free to post them below. In case you are going on a Holland America cruise in the near future (or are considering) here are the ships I've been on in the past with them.
Currently, my family has gone on three different ships with Holland America.
       (1) The Ryndam- Central America for Christmas
       (2) The Maasdam- Summer Canadian Cruise
       (3) The Oosterdam- Southern Caribbean for Christmas

    Until next time,
