It feels as if this summer has already become a blur. With my first big full time job wirking 9-5 adjusting to cherising the weekends has been an adjustment. Dont get me wrong, I love my job. But working in retail, when you had random weekdays off to go tanning at the beach, was amazing to say the least.
So its rime to cherish the days I di have off, such as weekends and nights. Luckily I got to cherish the summer a bit more than usual, with a three day weekend for the 4th. I had been really sick the week before, so a three day weekend full of going to the pool, watching Demi Lovato perform her new single "Cool for the Summer", and hanging with family was a blast.
Unlike many Minnesotans, my family and I do not go to the cabin for the 4th. Staying in the Cities can be kinda borning at times on holiday weekends, so I went above and beyond not to get bored. Here's a few snaps from my weekend. Hope everyone had a fun and safe Fourth!

    Untip next time, Sabrina

Hope you all had an amazing independence day!

    Hello, hello, hello!

Summer is in full swing (YEAH!) and that means another year full of going to the beach, hanging with friends, sipping on drinks, watching the sun set, and working on new projects. For those of you who have been religiously following my blog throughout the years you know that summer is my prime for trying things knew. I've done bucket-lists and all so that summer boredom is out of my vocabulary.
And here I am. 21, a senior in college. Somehow I have made it to my last summer ever. The last summer and the "back to the school rush", the last summer with homework, and the last summer double checking my GPA. This also leaves a lot up to question and up in the air about my future. Since I'm graduating early (next semester to be exact in December), the question of what I'm going to do with my life is also up in the air. This could (gasp), but my last official summer in the Twin Cities. So, I've decided to try and attend as many events as possible. Just so that I can get a good old dost of Twin Cities in me, before I potentially say adieu to the land of 10,000 lakes.
Fortunately, I also have an internship (along with two classes) to keep me busy this summer. After all, one must work hard to play hard :)

I have received an internship at one of my favorite (if not the best) place in Minnesota. The Mall of America. I swear if it weren't for my parents and the mall, I would have been out of this state by now. So far with three weeks in everything has been going great! Plus I get to wear cute clothes. I'm going to try my best and take pictures of my work outfits. I know that finding work appropriate but cute clothes can be hard for some women so I hope that this will be helpful.

The summer has been a slow one, but also a productive one so far. I've finally come to terms that I am back in the States. But I am motived to find a way to get back to Europe and travel once I have completed school. In the meantime I'm trying to have fun and finish some "long-term" bucket lists of mine that I've had for a while. So of course that means that they'll be projects that will pop up in the near by future.

So get ready, get set, let's go and have a great summer. It may be my last, so as the French say "profiter"! Until next time,

    Hello everyone!

For those of you who have already read my travel posts and seen my Instagram you know that I have returned to the land of 10,000 lakes. Its been two weeks since I've been back and it honestly feels as if I never went to Paris. It's weird because I know for a fact that I studied abroad in the city of lights. It's true- I have documentation to prove that I lived there. But the memories seem to be a blur now, and it feels surreal that I could have possibly had the experiences I had while in Paris. I described it to my sister like this: It feels as if I was knocked out and just woke up after four months of being unconscious. When I woke up, I recognized the things I had known since I was a child. Family, friends, my favorite food, and parts of town. But how I see them now is different than when I had several months ago. Everything now seems to be "new" in a sense for me, as if I was visiting them again for the first time.

I have some plans for this summer. I always liked how well my bucket-lists have gone in the past and hope to create something similar for this summer as well. After all, its my last summer ever. Crazy right? The last summer job, the last summer trips, and extended vacations. Of course being the person that I am  (who can't have only one task at a time) , I have decided to enroll in some summer classes so that I can graduate early (eek!). I'm writing my BIG paper this summer. I'm not too excited for this, but I'll be happy once it's over :) I've been writing this paper for several years (but what seems like forever) and can't wait to have it completed and conducted. It will be a total of two years that I have been working on this paper once it's finished this summer. Crazy-right?

I'm also working on some other projects of my own. Currently, I'm finishing up my first book. I have set a deadline to have it finished by Memorial Day. It's May 16th, so that doesn't give me too much time, but I am loving where it has been going so far. I can't wait to see where this book goes- and to say that I have finally accomplished one of my goals of writing a book. No matter how many pages this book may be, short or long, I will be able to say by the end of the month (and proudly) that I have written a book. I don't think that it will turn out to be anything like Divergent. But I do hope that it will generate conversation for at least one person. That's all that a writer can really ask-right?

For this blog I'm testing a lot of things out. Right now, I have some more posts from France and my looks to show you. I've been looking at other blogs (particularly those in Minnesota) to get some inspiration for this blog. So far I'm really happy with the progress that this blog has been making and I cannot wait to see how far it will go. I want to thank all of you readers who continue to read my blog. You truly motivate me to think out of the box, and type away on my computer for this blog. You motive me.

I think that's that. This week is going to be full of changes and new projects. I can't wait to share them with you once they have been finalized. Let's make this last summer count!
