Being away from France can be especially hard when the holidays come around. Fortunately I'm not the only Francophile or French lover in the Twin Cities. If you, like myself, plan on celebrating Bastille Day this weekend don't worry: here are a list of activities and outfit ideas in order to make this weekend the best one of the summer. Vive la France!

* Bastille Day Block Party hosted by Barbettes: Sunday from 3pm-10pm

* Brit's Pub, Minneapolis: Sunday from 12-8pm

* Alliance Francaise: Events throughout the weekend in the Cities and Rochester

If these events don't suit your fancy don't worry. Simply drinking a glass of wine and toasting to France will suffice at your favorite restaurant. Whatever event you decide to do this weekend be safe and have fun!
